Activating sandman ring of inv.

Post by Brookster »

Hi all; new to the game, so apologies if this is a really dumb question;

I've found a sandman ring of invisibility, but don't seem to be able to operate it. When it's worn, the ability to go invisible doesn't appear in special abilities 'menu', I can't alias it to a quick slot [obviously] I can't double click on it... I've tried it on different characters, after resting etc... basicallly, I can't turn the damn thing on!

The plan was to guarantee Yoshima always gets a good swipe at a backstab...

Equip the ring, and press the button looking like a bag on the bottom of the screen.
Then you should see the ring, and when you click that you should turn invisible.

Remember that you can do this only once a day, so you may need to rest first.

Welcome to the board!

True my thief usually has potions and ring(s). Why spend points on hide in shadows when you can get them this way.

I agree, Stilgar. Once I got Imoen back and gave her the Magi staff, I realized that having a scout that is invisible and detecting traps simultaneously is just too powerful.
