Kensai/Mage/Thief or Kensai/Thief/Mage?

Post by Morbent »

I just started a new game with a solo kensai, he is now level 11, and I want to dual him at level 13. The thing is I'm not sure if I should dual to Thief, get to level 24 (for UAI) and then dual to Mage, or dual to mage, get to level 28, and then dual to Thief, but be weak as a kitten until lvl 29.

Or, I could simply stay a Kensai/Mage all the way, but past level 28, there's no benefit in being a mage, so if I stay a Kensai/Mage, maybe I should dual later, like at lvl 17?

What do you guys think?

i think you're misunderstanding the dual class system.

from your current position you can only dual to either a mage or a thief. you cannot dual to one and then go to another. the only way to get three classes is to choose a multiclass at the begining of the game.

nope. sorry.

if you hear players talking about kensai/mage/thieves, they're talking about characters who started as a multiclass fighter/mage/thief and then had the kit edited in shadowkeeper

Yeah, you're right, I just made a test with shadowkeeper and you can only dual class once.

I don't remember where I got that false idea from though...

Thanks for replying anyway
