I shouldn't have traded the Camera for the information?

Post by Ravor »

In another thread someone mentioned that the camera is used in a later quest, and I was wondering what quest that was and whether I could still win it since I traded the camera for information in Shouded Hills? (Or if not is there any other way to et the camera back short of killing the trader considering that he loves he based off all the money I've made him by selling loot without the Haggle Skill.)

The camera is involved in an optional quest in Caladon, so it's no biggie if you don't have it any more.

But...

I think you can buy it back if you want, and

Ristezze doesn't give very good prices. You should try selling things at the general store first.

Camera

If you want to become a master of repair you want the camera to give evidence to the engineer. Start a new game and keep the camera and buy back toone's boot.

Basically, the only difference is that, while you want to buy both of the items back, the camera costs in the upper thousands or ten thousands, wheras the boot is 4 to 6 gold. Of course, you could just steal the stuff back. Even non thieves can do it:

1. Wait untill night, then follow the shopkeeper into his back room.
2. When he's asleep, save and pick pocket the key (easy, even if you have no skill)
3. Open whatever chests you want, take what you want
4. Save, and put the key back in their inventory.
5. Wait till morning, and leave the room when they do.
