when you are past level 6 and you rest, you will be woken up by a loud noise. thats an assasin. kill him. report it to a guard. they will tell you to go to some dude wearing steel armor in ebonhart, so go to that guy. talk to him about the dark brotherhood. then talk to the lady who wears a red robe and whos name starts with 'A' then you will go to mournhold.

BTW, why was your post edited by fable?

The thread title was edited. It was originally "just wonderin," which isn't terribly helpful as a title. I also PM'd him to suggest using more appropriate thread titles in the future.

At this point in a Mel Brooks film, a character would turn to the audience, scowl, and say loudly, "Everybody got that?" before going on with the main plot. So if everybody has it down, let's return to the subject at hand. ;)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

It doesn't matter what level you are. You can can be attacked right after starting a new game while you rest on the way to Balmorra after almost being killed by a scrib. :)

No, on the PC version of the game, it will be possible to be attacked by an assasin very near to the beginning, whereas on Xbox you have time to level up at first and at around lvl. 6-8 you will be attacked by an assasin. :)

This only shows that the average XBox player is considered inferior to the average PC player.

Just kidding. :D

But honestly speaking, I think it is because of that the XBox version might be considered harder. I really can't say since I'm not the proud owner of a "black-box-with-a-nice-glowing-logo-and-made-by-some-guy-named-bill".

Because on PC, you could always type "player -> setstrength 1000" while you are being attacked, then revert back to original strength when you come back.

Also, is it possible to adjust difficulty in Xbox?

Yes, you can have the difficulty set from -100% difficulty to +100% difficulty.

Talk about subject "Transport to Mournhold" then choose the remark: "I think I have been marked by the Dark Brotherhood...", she will then send you to Mournhold after you end the conversation.

an infinite number of times, they dont seem to mind casting a spell to send you back and forth any time of day or night.

I strongly believe that you have to have the journal entry before you can travel to Mournhold. Apelles Matius over at Ebonheard won't talk about "transport to Mournhold" before that.
