Bent Elven Key

I'm having trouble finding the bent Elven Key. I've looked in area #13 in the trapped chest but no Key or Keys or Gloves or anything...... is this possibly a problem the patch would fix..... HELP.....

Edrew, next time you got a problem it would be a big help if you mention the level you are in as well as the area/room number, ie. Lower Keep...I dont have the patch(s) and everything was in the chest for me! It might be what I have come to think of as a "temporary" bug... one that stays with you until you leave the level and then come back later. This is what happened to me in the Prisons, room 4. Only this bug caused the game to crash time after time, so I continued on without getting the "best weapon of the game", came back after I'd finished the next level, and everything was fine! Go figure, ay....Put the patch in, it couldn't hurt, right??

One of the items corrected by patch v1.4 is"chests in Dwarven Dungeons ope3ning and missing items." How about that?
