Code book in South Wall

Post by cgstrom »

Hello again. Does anyone know anything about a quest I got from the Mages Guild about a code book which is suppost to be in South Wall. I found a person in South Wall Corner Club but ske denies any knowledge of a code book. Also there is no code book in the Club.

There are 2 ways i know of getting it, killing her and running like hell (if your in the theives guild you'll be expelled, and of course everyone in the south wall will chase you out) or stealing it by sneaking and taking it from her person and running like hell (the only difference from the last one is that she'll chase you as well + you need a good sneak skill.

Code book

But where is the book? Does she wear it or is it laying somewhere on a table, on the floor in a shelter or what?

Dude if you're sneaking and you try to talk to someone you'll end up looking at there inventory, however what you see in her inventory depends on how high your sneak skill is, and if she catches you looking at her inventory again be ready to run like hell, if the book isn't there your gonna have to kill her.

cgstrom, you can always bribe her. When she is happy, then she will give it to you freely. I got that mission from the Fighter's guild.

You can only get her to willingly give it to you if you aren't in the Thieves Guild.

Or you can forget about that mission for a while if you are in thieve's guild. You DON'T want to help Camonna Tong, right? After you advance in thieve's guild high enough you eventually will solve the situation and will be able to do the rest of the fighters guild missions.

Mom said not to talk to strangers. I asked her what that meant and she said "anyone who looks stranger than your relatives." Except Uncle Sue. I guess. - A boy in Baldur's Gate

You'd think, though, that she'd be willing to hand it over once you wipe out the Camonna Tong on Vvardenfell.
