BIG problem in Astral Prison

Post by morf »

How the f*** do i get past the opening and closening holes in Astral Prison? I have managed to complete the path to the left but the northern path is really fustrating. There are two holes or what it is which are opening and closing and i have been lucky to get two of my characters past the first one though.
I have reloaded about 25 times now and i think it is a pain in the a**.
Also the body of Warren lies on one of the holes.
Are there any tricks getting past this point of the game because i am sick and tired of reloading.

Problem solved. Found out the whole group could enter same hole and beat the monsters.
At last.. :O)

I've never had a problem in single-filing around 'em.

That said, there's no reason to do so when you're facing off against the Big Guy. I usually sent summoned creatures against him--you'll find they don't get 'ported when they walk across the holes. With summoned creatures, you can have one or two party PCs stand back and watch, maybe casting some spells from the sidelines. Eventually, the Warden will come out looking for you, in a rather unpleasant mood. I'd flee back to the main area, since this gave him litle opportunity to get your party all at once.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Dumb question: have you ever heard about Shift+click?
Just curios,
