Yes, I am aware that he is called Algernon. It just served my purpose more adequately to refer to him as "some fat guy" to accentuate how easy it is for one to acquire that particular cloak so early in the game. Or is my vocabulary just a "widel" bit too advanced for you?

I don't think he was serious about the helm of opposite alignment. I think he just used it as a way to justify killing Drizzt. When I feel like killing Drizzt and taking his gear I just pretend that my character doesn't recognize him and that he should be killed because he is drow.
Anywhere you can find a raving lunatic rambling on about his past and how he received the enlightenment from the toads who hail from the heavens, I'll be there.
And no, I'm not on drugs.

Thing I do when I see Drizzt, is notice he is very well equiped, then I think, Hmm, he has good equipment, ... he is killable, ... theres a temple nearby, .. I am rich, very good items. Then he dies. But yeah, he is a dirty drow, he deserves death.
Hmm, Best wepeons : Gold armour (fullplate+1) with the gold norse helm and Bassilusk hammer, It looks so cool being gold!!
Really most usefull and best thing is boots of speed, they are priceless!!
Wand of fire is ****ing usefull, I normaly buy about 6 of them, never need magic missiles or fireballs in my spell books.. umm.
Best wepeon, like most usefull is the magic throwing axe, Kaigan is incomplete without it.
