Bard Song?

1. What does the Bard song do exactly is it like the luck spell but for all the party?

2. Do you use the Bard song to good effect or do you just ignore it?

Its poor, I think it increases AR and maybe thaco, however you have to sit there barding away and can't actually do anything while its happening, so its pretty poo.

I don't use it, and for that matter I don't use bards, (although a blade is fun!)

You right I've been trying out the bard and the only thing I can find with the song is if you party panics and you play the song there don't panic anymore. I think I stick to the clerics remove fear spell
