Help! Histachii brew (spoiler)

I made the Histachii brew in the lab with the modified root. trouble is each time the human takes it it only poisons him - what have I done wrong?
On reloads it only poisons the non-humans too.

Well what is it called... is it modified? if not then you got wrong brew.... and you need to give it to wizard in white robes on first area of dragons eye...

Sorry I should have said. Yes its the modified version made with the modified root. Ive already given one to the old guy in the cells....

have he turned into histachii? yet... if not you need to talk to him and let him go to ''egg chamber'' on second floor...

OOll i know this thread is kinda old but:

My problem is I have a wizard with an alchemy level of 22(18) (dunno if that means its 22 or 18 but meh), and i think that I might have killed that alchemist already...(i raided the lab before i got the roots), but even if i place the roots on the east table and flip the switch, my wizard cant seem to do anything. I looked at the tables and he can't seem to read the notes on the table (like i look at the table, dialogue comes up but nothing happens), any ideas?

I remember talking to a guy who wanted me to make the brew, but not after i got the modified one, i can only find one person on the first level and hes called "prisioner" and he doesnt look anything like a white wizard, however he does say something about him having to mate with the females. Btw when i try the bottom lever it says something about it smells like alchemy and how acid has erroded thegears.

It also appears that now, for some odd reason i do have the alchemy notes, but i still can't do anything.

you need to talk with him after you get modified mandrake root.. then you can create potion.. then you will give that potion to him... white perhaps grayish robes... his name is Nhneero.. then he will be in eggxhamver looking like that yellow lizard.. rest and he will turn back to human.. then he mighy have modified potion for you.. or you need to make new one...

Hmm...I just read back on my journal and for sure i have met Nherro, however I dunno where he went, supposedly i asked him a question that he couldnt answer so he wanted to consult a library. I've went down to the library but he isnt there (cause i asked him the question before i found the library. but im not sure becausei havent played for months.
