Exact XP amount

Post by Brynn »

Huh... Don't know exactly, sorry, b/c it only said that "The party gained experience", but not the exact amount (like when killing monsters), and I didn't check my XP before and after :) . I guess it's the same with every quest experience, isn't it?

WTF?

In IWD2 you should see how much XP you get from certain quest's.. in IWD1 you would see that only after some changes in .ini file..

How can you say no to this face? :D

But seriusly.. Party without Bard is not party...

Maybe I got used to IWD so much that I didn't pay attention to it...? But I recall going to Shawford for payment after completing his quest and I don't remember seeing the amount of XP I gained for that... I'll have to check it.

It's in the gameplay options, I think, but isn't set as a default - you have to "tick" the display quest XP check box. It could also be in config, been a while since I turned it on, but I'm absolutely certain that you don't need to go to the .ini file to do so.

OK, I'll check that, too, thanks for th tip, Vanion.

As you can see I split the Dead Cat thread into two parts - this part was way offtopic, but I thought it may be useful for others as well.

I checked it, and it doesn't say the exact amount. I tried to set it in the gameplay options, but couldn't find it (the feedback option didn't include this)...
