No Dialogue in TOSC areas...

Post by dgb »

In TOSC areas some people give no dialogue. Ie. the dialogue window comes up, but nothing is shown. However it is obviously there because i can get results using the number keys... This happens in Durlags tower (the merchant) and Ulgoths beard, although the commoners in Ulgoths beard had no problems.

Any idea/could this be caused by an xp cap remover?

Yep, version 1.1.4315...

I tried removing the xp cap remover and revertign back to a save before I put it on, but same problem.

Kind of frustrating that I can't use the TOSC areas...

1.1.4315?? I've not heard of that version... The last official patch was version 1.3.5520, which was the DirectX8 patch. Sounds like your patches may be a little mixed up. Check your version number, and possibly reinstall the patch.

I use the XP Cap remover from Ease-of-Use, and have not had any problems in either of those areas.

1.1.4315 is actually the newest one. My game is updated to that one.
