Solus greatsword
Solus greatsword
I've heard that you can get this sword as a present from lady gray after you married her. How can I get her to give me the sword? Is there a special method, or do i just have to give her stuff and keep her satisfied?
Having married lady grey you can go to the demon door at grey house, it will let you in as long as your still married to her, inside you find ronok the axe, which is a helpful weapon and the solos great sword is the second best weapon in the game I belive next to th sword of aeons.
And lo ye must learn of the great war that raged fo a couple of posts and brought the citadel momentaraly to its knees
Lookie!
I tend to appear briefly and disappear very quickly after that, try not to let it bother you.

Finally, the sword!!!
I got the sword from lady gray!! I got solus greatsword!! All you have to do in order to get it is to make her feel good for a loooooong time. First, you'll get a few elixiers of life, then a heath augmentation and finally, the sword itself. So save yourself a couple of thousand gold (I don't know how much all the gifts costed, but significantly less than the sword), and get the sword through lady gray.

You need to be married to her first. Then, buy one of each gift. Give her one gift and do lots of flirting, manly arm poses and sexy hero poses, then give her the next gift and so on. I am not really sure how many of each you should give her, or if you have to make her happy, leave town and then come back. Although if she walks around town singning, it is a sign you're going in the right direction.

attractiveness (sp?)
well, for lady grey everything depends on your looks
it you look like CRAP, it will not matter what gift you get her; and yes, she does love gems
everytime, i boosted my looks or dropped my scary, she was happier to see me
Be as handsome as you can and don't look scary
if you have the moola, give her one of each before you leave town
currently, i'm -38 scary and 100+ attractive
i haven't received the solus yet, but now she's giving me weapons as gifts

Funny thing, you can actually own two solus greatswords (why anyone would want that I don't know), since the sword in the store doesn't disappear from the shop when she gives you the sword.
I never recieved any weapons except the solus greatsword though. I wonder if the gifts are randomized, since I got three elixiers of live, but no weapons. I still prefer the elixiers though...

Proof of getting the Solus Greatsword from Lady Grey
To those who are planning to give up on getting the Solus Greatsword from Lady Grey. It takes a lot of time, I wore the nicest clothes (The whole set of Bright Will User's clothes with the hat) and had at least around 100 of each gift, and gave her one of each every visit (Except the black rose, which is weird considering she initially wanted the black rose, but now doesn't want it), used the 3 types of flirting (Flirt, Arm Pump, Hero Pose) before and after giving the gifts until she invites me to bed. After doing it with her, I save the game and try to do what I did to her again (gave gifts and flirt) until she invites me to bed again. I do this over and over until its morning then I go outside of the manor to do all those stuff again with her, without the bed part. Eventually, she will give you a gift, some received health augmentation or resurrection phial before receiving the Solus Greatsword, I received the Solus first. So don't surrender, trust me, its far cheaper than buying it in Bowerstone North, and it makes you feel good that you have been nice to your wife and that you found one of the game's secrets. hehehe. Takecare to you all and goodluck, heres the picture of Lady Grey giving me the Solus: http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o113 ... -20073.jpg

i believe it is better then the sword of aeons. the attack power will drop almost 70 points if i was to use the sword of aeons over the solos sword. i am not 100% sure what the number of the decrease is since i do not have it up in fornt of me at the momentMccool wrote:Having married lady grey you can go to the demon door at grey house, it will let you in as long as your still married to her, inside you find ronok the axe, which is a helpful weapon and the solos great sword is the second best weapon in the game I belive next to th sword of aeons.

Thats a funny question. Most of the citizens in Fable TLC follow a certain model. So, you might meet a person in Bowerstone who looks exactly as someone else in Oakvale...2. what does he/she look like.
Its pretty hard to describe what NPCs look like in the game.
