After the battle, I was transported back to the drow city core where fire throwers and drow marksmen started to attack. Then the illithids and umber hulks came to attack. After that, I suddenly got stuck. My dexterity went down to 3 (-4) and I couldn't move. I could still talk to my henchmen, and do everything else except moving. I tried drinking potions to boost my dexterity and equipping items too. Nothing worked. I tried cheats by going into debug mode to change my dexterity but it wouldn't change also. I can't rest and I can't leave the area, as it is an important segment of the game and the Seer's would want to speak to me.
I'm at my wits end. I seriously don't want to waste about 20-40 hours of gameplay just because of a tiny problem. Please help.

Are you completely immovable or just unable to walk?
I.e. can you still equip/deequip/pick up stuff?
...and that state actually resists the DEX-cheat command? *eek* Now -that's- frightening... sorry for asking, but did you use it correctly?
Did you really sucessfully activate the debugmode?
Did the game accept your cheat?
Did you use the "Target mode" thingie and all? Note that once you have successfully input the dm_setDEX cheat, the game asks you to click on the character who shall receive that boost... also, you could try using the dm_jumptopoint X Y command with some arbitrary XY-values to use the meager chance of the character being micro-reset when being spawned in another spot.
If you did use the cheats properly and not even cheating helps... then... I'm afraid there's nothing else left you can do but reload.
Well, patching the game to the latest version is worth a try, too - but chances aren't very good that this will fix a bug that has already -occured-.

This is a common thing with the dex (At least for Me). I.e when you changes the apperance of any items, quicksave and load, The dex goes to 3. The only way to be available to move is to rest. i think the same goes for your problem.
Hope that it works out.

This happened to me, but at the outer gates. I got stuck right when the game was supposed to have sent me to the city core for the final part of the battle. However, when I loaded to try again, everything worked fine. So maybe you just need ot keep trying.
