I have cleaned the river caves (and Black raven gates) of monsters as requested by Barud Barzam. When I return to claim reward/exp. he asks if I have finished the task but my my dialogue options are both "no,..bla bla bla" - there is no "yes.."
I've killed everything that moves and searched over and over for monsters in the caves but none more to kill. Help.
I've been through this too. Seems like a random bug that happens sometimes as I have got the bonus before in an earlier game.
As far as I know there is no way around this bug. You're just not going to get your reward. I suggest just killing all the Duergar in the place they have some good loot, and even if you don't get the XP bonus for completing your task, you will get the items they were going to give you.
