1. When fighting with Tolub inside the Boatmen’s Tavern, he always told me "I beat you fair and square..." just after the end of my first turn. I'm sure there is no magic buff on or any magic item on that team member. Why is that?
2. I have recruited Oohlgrist for the water temple, then killed all the temple leader after that. Now I just cannot make Oohlgrist join my team since there is no relevant dialog option. Did I do sth wrong?

1) the Tolub quest is a little bugged - it works for me with the 1st Atari & the 1st Co8 patch but I've heard that the 2nd patch seems to cause a problem...
...but with the older patches there was the problem that he always said that you were cheating - cause sneak & monk attacks seemed to count as "real" damage even if you choose non-lethal !
...but at the end you should kill him eitherway cause he has a very rare ring of protection +3 !
2) not sure if you can make him a party member via the talking to him...-...but you can make everything to a party-member via domination, killing and resurrect !
