Are these random occurances?
When exactly is it when NPC's start interacting with your player character? Is it after they have been with you for so many days or is it just a random occurance in the game? Just curious to know how this works.
Be happy while you're living, for you're a long time dead.

if ur talking about romantic relationships, they appear at random ( or after a certain, undetermined internal game timer )
Other NPCs with quest related features start interacting with u and their quest after certain amount of days
So itz not totally random

The 'Romance timer' seems to keep running, even when you pause the game ...
I've had it happen regularly that I had to go away from my machine (eating, shopping, etc..) so I kept the game on pause. When I returned and continued playing, almost RIGHT AWAY (or perhaps when entering a new area) the romantic plot would come up.
I've noticed that as long as the game is running, these encounters occur about half an hour to an hour (real time) apart from one another, getting somewhat more apart later on in the romance.
So you can pause the game, to stop the actual game time, while the 'Romance timer' actually observes the REAL time, and therefor continues.
Anybody completed a Romance on day 1??
