Question about Screenshots

Post by soullesspariah »

This may sound like a stupid question, but how do you rotate the camera angle in the game so that you can take a screenshot of the front of your character? And once you have taken a screenshot what do you do to view it?

you can't change camera angle as far as I know, only when you dance.

You can, however its' a bit advanced.

Open up ur config.cfg file in ur Bloodlines directory and then add these entries:

bind "KP_PLUS" "+camin"
bind "KP_MINUS" "+camout"
bind "KP_UPARROW" "cam_yaw 180"
bind "KP_PGUP" "cam_yaw 225"
bind "KP_RIGHTARROW" "cam_yaw 270"
bind "KP_PGDN" "cam_yaw 315"
bind "KP_DOWNARROW" "cam_yaw 0"
bind "KP_END" "cam_yaw 45"
bind "KP_LEFTARROW" "cam_yaw 90"
bind "KP_HOME" "cam_yaw 135"
bind "KP_INS" "pause"
bind "KP_DEL" "screenshot"

Now, the Minus button will work as a zoomout button.

(U might want to backup the config.cfg file before adding these stuff)

thank you

Thanks for the information. Is there a certain file I need to open the config.cfg file because I currently cannot open the file to edit it?

Front On Screenshot ...

- if you just want a simple front on screenshot of your character you can rotate the camera to front-on while they're dancing ..

I believe he wanted stylish-pictures where they stand pointing guns etc.

Not very fun to have a homepage full of dancing pics.

Hi there,

All u need is a program that can open up .txt files like Notepad and Textpad.
Just run one of them and open up the config.cfg file and then add the entries mentioned above.

a little example:

bind "KP_DEL" "screenshot"

This will make the Keypad Del button a screenshot button!

Just wanted to add for those doing this on a laptop... man it gets confusing! I end up having to use my Num Lk key which turns the right side of my laptop keyboard into said keys (j=1, k=2, etc). Im going to see if I can figure out the key names so I can edit it but still thanks again for the tip!

P.s. not much point with me taking snapshots though... my textures look good and my framerate is not terrible but I do suffer the "white eye" syndrome amongst others.
