weird book!

Post by robot flux »

So, after I checked wikipedia for some in-depth information about Morrowind I found a very interesting thing:
The international language Esperanto made an appearance in Morrowind in the form of a book called N'Gast! Kvaka! Kvakis!

Has anyone tried to translate it or has it been translated already? What is it about?

Say what? Wasn't Esperanto declared obsolete, like, thirty years ago? Why would anyone take Esperanto lessons?? Can you make money of it??!

The mystery has been solved

I was looking into this myself for a while, and after a week or so of searching, I found a word-for-word translation in the imperial library (I've included the adress at the bottom)

The book apparently says the 'Kva Kvak' is a newsletter sent to members of some kind of club and the second paragraph says something about the newsletter being altered over the internet. Check the site if you don't believe me. I thought that, the book being in the possesion of most Telvanni wizards, that it would have to do with necromancy, but I suppose there's nothing wrong with an easter egg here or there. ;)

here's the adress, Enjoy:
