I would like to play Puma's mods but they arent compatible with foreign versions, as he pointed me in a mail Marksman mod also doesnt show me a shop in Vivec, spend hours to search and nothing, but at least doesnt crash the game.Same for merchants mods.
Every time I launch his mods game crashes, because I have french version. When I checked Morowind data, it seems only a few things are in french, morowind.ini and TES construction set. Anyone has an idea if those can be changed with an US version and the game could run then in english? It would be great if someone could send me those two files in US language. Maybe Morowind.exe too but I am not sure.Someone else got stucked using mods due to this problem?
As far as I know all you have to get are French versions of the mods. They don't work with your version, because the names of the cells depend on the version you have (once again, as far as I know). Because of that you can't find the shop, because the cells the mod referrs to don't exist in your version (well, they DO exist, but are named differently). Now you can try to find somebody who'll make a French version of the mods or you could contact the authors and try to do it yourself.....

No, your buttocks is correct. There are several modding sites in French, though the only one I know of offhand is this.

Well, french seems lazy making mods, I wanted Giants , Wilderness from Puma as they look great. And french mods come under a file I dont recognize, the name is "suran_underworld_v2.52vf.7z" for example. I cant check it as plugin once I put it in data folder.
Cells are in french, items names are in english. Maybe if I replace TES with an US one, morrowind.launcher.exe, morrowind.exe and morrowind.ini game should work fully in english, what you think? All my data files are in english, so those I can keep...

That file name you mentioned is actually an archive type, referred to as 7 Zip. You can download a de-archiver, here.

But still I would love to try giants and wilderness. I need US tes, morrowind exe, morrowind launcher exe and morrowind ini. Is there someone enough generous to send me those? Archived would make about 4 MO....
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds as though you're asking for someone to make an English language copy of their Morrowind CDs, which isn't permitted, here. (Our site owner's rules won't even allow piracy discussions.) At least, that's the case with the Morrowind executable.
As for the Morrowind launcher exe, that sounds like the mod, Morrowind Enhanced. You can get it from several sites, including TheLys and Morrowind Summit. Giants and Wilderness are up on Punaman's website.

I know Fable about piracy but: I have my own legally Morrowind. All I ask is that someone send me those files as they are in his directory(no copy of CD!!! only 3 files from directory where game is installed:Morrowind.exe, morrowind.ini and TES.exe). Of course, I can send my morrowind.exe to prove I have the game. This is 5 minutes thing. I mail my files, you mail me yours, no piracy. Am I wrong?
I am in hollydays for 2 weeks and planned to replay the game with Puma"s mods. Seems my luck dropped to zero
