Help Plaese in the MingXiau must Die quest *possible spoiler*

Post by nekra »

I have a problem...
In the Masion(temple) of Ming Xiau There is the Big Room with the Waterfall and the big red door with that piece of Wood who blocks the door. I can't open the door because the the piece of Wood does not move when i press the use key while facing it.

Pls help me and please forgive me the "pice of Wood" I am from germany and dont know the real vocabulary

thx

You just found the second bug everyone runs into ;)
In order to get the door open you have to do the following:
1.kill all the guards in the room and
2.Re-load the area.
This could be done by safing and reloading, for instance.
After the area is reloaded you can simply walk against the "piece of wood".
(Place yourself in front of the door, turn right and move forward)
You don't have to press any buttons.

PS: Sind wir schon zwei Deutsche hier :D

Dear all,

I'm experiencing the exact same problem, however the save&reload option does not seem to work for me :(
I've been stuck in the exact same place for two days now.. the fun is starting to wear off :(

Any sugestions..? Thanks,
Caspar

[EDIT] Holy snap! Just two seconds after I post this I finally get the True meaning of what you said, and now it works just fine

Ah well... I was very tired while trying before ;) tnx!

Soo frustrated..

Alrighty well I dunno what to do now- I have reloaded it, and reloaded it. I've gone back and redone the whole bit, and come back and it still wouldn't work. Why oh why is this wonderful game so full of holes? :(

Don't Use It

Get on one side of the wedge sticking out from the crossbar and push it.

Took me a while to catch onto this one as well...

Hope that answers it for ya.

You need to (literaly) push the sliceing crossbar, as if you were pushing a box in the ground.
