Stupid/Funny Bugs/Errors in BLoodlines
So i would like to know which bugs in this game happend to u... its just my curiosity... here`s a list of mine
1. In the hospital in Santa Monica upstairs where is the guard, there are 2 safes, in one there is werewolf blood and in the other one is some drug case and 3xPrescription bottles, but when you take them, u get only 1 in inventory
2. When you complete the Carnival of Death quest, just drop the 'Brothers salvage' card and pick it up, the quest re-appears
3. When you buy in chinatown the +1dexterity charm, and you`re wearing the +2 studded leather armor which gives -2dexterity, the -2effect is nullified (well, for tremere atleast) and furthermore, if you have +1 leather armor as a tremere + this charm, you can remove a point from dexteriry, getting back the experience
4. When i was fighting the Chinaman in the 'Foxy Boxes' during one of his jumps landed him near one of those boxes and he was paralyzed, couldnt do anything but to jump in the air and landing on the spot where he was, and afther his death (if he has katana equipped) the katana just was stuck in the air
5. As a tremere female when wearing studded leather armor, afther some time doing some acrobacy(jumping, sneaking, running) the skirt will be totaly misplaced, in fact it will be attached to 1 point and weaving from one side... really silly
I do not even count the times when the game just crashed, i`ll place new bugs here as i find `em

After the intro and the initial conversations with Jack you're supposed to open your first door, but quite often, the tutorial message concerning the door won't appear and your fledgeling character is too dumb/confused/incompetent to figure it out for himself so he's just staring at the door like a stoned turkey....
The ghost at the Ocean House hotel sometimes gets stuck in a wall while running (the women in white at the second floor).
Have you ever noticed that gowns and capes sometimes moves wildly for a brief period of time like if they were pushed by an incredibly strong wind (or a Jumbo jet passing nearby... ) ?

The one that I hate the most, getting stuck on moveable objects that are laying on the floor. For instance, the bottom level of the Hospital in Santa Monica, in the laundry room there is a part to crouch through that has a piece of wood leaning against it. You pick up the wood and throw it on the ground. Whenever you walk on that piece of wood you almost lose total control of your character.
I've had that happen too many times to notice, one that stood out in particular, was in the level with Bishop Vick. Before you get to him there are bodies everywhere. I got caught up on one of the bodies and couldn't move, crouch or jump off of it. Stuck! Reload, grrrr. Fantastic game but probably one of THE most buggy that I've ever played.
Considering the November 16th release date...UM...WTH is the patch?!?!?!?!

Yeah great game but it seems to me that we're playing an early beta, rather than a finished product . Some bugs are so damn obvious that one wonders if they did any QA at all.
Another interesting bug is hostile NPCs getting hurt among themselves when they open fire. Just wait behind a solid repair and watch their numbers decrease as the front line gets decimated by the rear echelon.

One of my least favorite:
Save before causing some trouble (like shooting a cop or something), have your fun, and then reload. Guess what? The cop is hostile on you AFTER reloading!
Maybe this has never happened to anyone else, but some times I'll save before doing something stupid or trying to kill someone that I know I shouldn't but just for the heck of it, and then when I reload this person is hostile with me already.
I usually have to restart Vampire before my load works properly. There were a couple of times when I thought I was completely screwed.
One of the worst was when I was going after a certain plague bearer in the sewers. I saved in the room adjacent to his, and when I died, I'd reload, only to find him charging into my room already hostile toward me and skipping all dialogue.

dammit.. what just happened to me... well i`m sure you all know the Stan Gimble quest(the first from Arthur Kilpatrick) ... when he attacks you with that hand of his and you kill him, there is a cutscene where you open the cell... as your character comes to release the poor fella, i always saw only a shadow instead of my character, but this time i saw my character, it was walking forward but moving sideway.... it really looked stupid
then when you go rescue Lily in the hospital, you 'release' her from those handcuffs that are already opened( ), than she jumps on the doc., after that you see your character from front, but the poligons are all messed up, like if u`ve been hit in the chest really badly
oh and dunno if this is true or false, but when you are in the Ghost House in the kitchen when those cups and pots are falling on you and you must wait for the door to open, i used celerity, and it looked like the door opened much sooner that the 3 times i did that before

Haha, I bet that celerity slowed down the pots and utensils getting thrown at you, but probably didn't affect when the door opened.
And yes, every cutscene in the game has been completely unacceptable. No one is ever looking at the other person, people are usually sliding instead of walking, bodies are all conjumbled and hair and clothing is sticking up in the air, sound and actions don't match, etc. Terrible terrible terrible.

How about the opening cinematic when LaCroix's main henchman goes to cut off your sire's head. You hear the *schushe* of the blade slicing but he's still standing there with the blade at his side.
BTW, I think this little game can go on for ever and ever, reporting bugs. What's funny about the whole thing is that it hasn't detracted that much from the overall experience. I've seen tons of posts here from people that are on their second, third, FIFTH time through the game. Funny, really. SW:KOTOR was my favourite RPG until this came out. Just release a patch already(that's likely a full time job and will take them longer than it did to make the game in the first place ).

Meshes that bend badly, clipping problems, vertex/bones not properly aligned, etc
I'm seriously considerng this possible scenario: some guy at Activision picked up the wrong CD and sent to gold an alpha release!

The best bug I've come across so far - my third time thorugh I'm playing a Tremere. After I got my room at the Chantry and Heather had moved in, I went back to my Santa Monica haven to pick up a few things I'd left in the drawer, and Heather was still there, so now I have twin ghouls - one in Santa Monica and one downtown. Too bad she already gave me that $500

I must have gotten the SINGLE best copy of this game in the world, because NONE of these happened to me at all. Maybe the Australian release was a little more fleshed out?.. No can't be that, the SOL bug is still there. Oh well, here's all I have to add.
On more then one ocassion I've realised the game is about to start lagging due to the excess memory requirements and needs restarting, but theres not point in restarting a game unless you can have some fun on the way out... So it's time to slaughter everyone and breech the masquerade enough to earn some hunters... Ahh.. Sweet, tasty hunters!
Anyway, I've noticed a VERY odd choice of behaviour from the running, screaming mortals. I can activate celerity or something Masquerade breechy, and the ones near me will run in terror and fear of the horrid demon in their midst... But any mortals they pass on the way, infecting with the terror as I come closer, will instead LAUNCH themselves bravley into my path, running directly at me, mashing their face into mine as they try and keep running through me... Failing obviously, and conviently contiue to ru up against me untill I decide it's time for me to eat them.
I know the first thing I do when I see a monster is run right at it, press myself against it, and grind into it for all I'm worth!

After you break out of the vampire testing facility at Fu Syndicate, the Mandarin starts running madly into the corner of a wall--which considering the awful AI in this game isn't so unusual--but when I try to feed on him and suck him dry I end up jumping straight through him! It's weird when you're standing inside of him and looking out through half of his head...the guy must be some kind of ghost?
Countless other bad collision detections throughout the game, as previously listed in this thread. For me it was especially bad at the Giovanni mansion when the bodyguards started sinking through the ground.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the character model looks like crap in the cut scenes, especially when freeing the vamp girl in the blood clinic...my gangrel female had this tiny head on a gigantic body...it was terrible.
Also, anyone notice how arming yourself with a fireaxe turns you into the hunch back of Notre Dame? What's up with that?

As I said, animations are really poorly done. Animating as mesh is a long process which require both skill and patience. It looks like didn't invest too much time in this. To anyone wanting to see excellent melée animations I recommend Jedi Academy which has the most realistic close combat cinematics seen in any FPS.Also, anyone notice how arming yourself with a fireaxe turns you into the hunch back of Notre Dame? another few bugz ;]]
when i was finishing the carnival of death quest, the part when you run after the murderer and he`s kicking cars at you... when the cars lay down idle, when you touch them, you take some serious damage... iron scrap is dangerous...
and the more hillarious part was when i was fighting the murderer himself
the combat started, i walked few steps back, he came to me, i gave him 1 lucky hit with katana and he flew like 10 meters back right into the fire which killed him in like 5seconds...
Sometime you character just looks to the left and than right if you stand still for a while, i am now playing toreador female, she did that lookaround and to my surprise, she had no eyes! it was in downtown when i exited the chantry, you could see right through those holes in her skull...

In the Ming Boss Fight
I blasted the big nasty baddie with my flame thrower which did lot of damage and then I got hit with that wierd plague ray. It blew me up onto a corner of the ledge near the roof, and the creatures couldn't hit me with a tentacle. I just picked 'em off with a shottie after that. I didn't need a single blood bag.
