Okay, I seem to be stuck in Grout´s Library. I know from the walkthrough that there is supposed to be a secret door leading from the library to ... whereever. I have lit all candles then extinguished the middle candle but I can´t find this damn door. Can pls anybody tell what I am doing wrong? Alternatively, there is supposed to be some sort of switch disguised as a book that will open the door... but where ?
Please help !

Are you on the ground floor of the library (the first candle puzzle) or on the upper floor (the second puzzle)? Both puzzles are quite the same: You need to light all the candles. Each candle controlls the others in a certain pattern and there are hints on how to do it on a piece of paper next to both sets of candles. The first set openes a door you passed by earlier, and the second set opens a secret door on the ground floor. You'll know you got it right when you see a cutscene of the door unlocking/bookshelf moving. Even if you can't figure it out, just mess around with them for a while, you're bound to get it right.
I've never used the book, so I don't know where it is, but from what I've read the book can only be used if you have a sufficient investigation skill to find it.
