FASTEST SABERS IN GAME. Copy to!

Ok here is the single fastest way to get your first saber, and I will tell you how to copy it. To begin with you have to make sure you activate Visas (the scene where you first see her), t do this you need to be like 25% dark or good side. Also you need to buy the crystal from the "smuggling" vendor on Telos. You also need the piece givin by the Ithorians (i dont know if czerka gives one to you for doing stuff for them instead). So once you are done Telos you should have gotten the first piece and a crystal plus Visas will be ready to add to your crew once you re-enter your ship. Once you are off Telos, go to Nar-Shadaa and get off your ship and back on again to face Visas to get her on your team and the saber part. Once that is done go to the residential area place on Nar-Shadaa (in the docks area) and speak to the guy who is looking for his wife. Kill him for the final saber part (I dunno if you get the part for doing his mission instead, if you wanna be good then I guess you should quickly do it, but really who cares you get your saber!). So now its off to Bao-Dur and you get your saber done up before starting any of the planets.
Now to Copy your new saber!
For this you need two colour crystals and Visas on your team and a saber ofcourse. (MUST BE ON THE HAWK TO DO THIS!)
Equip Visas with the saber and switch the colour of it. Then do it again but instead of switching the crystal and assembling it, highlight the same crystal that is in there and press the assemble button, you should now have a copy of that saber in your inventory, plus the power ups are also copied. Before equiping the new saber, save your game and then equip the saber. Its also possible to get visas to equip your personal crystal and get her to copy it, but I dont have the exact info on that.
I found this to be the most usefull information in the game since to me the gam,e doesnt start till you get a saber, so to get one that soon in the game (faster then Kotor 1 I think), and then be able to copy them!. By the time I was half way through Nar-Shadaa (first planet to do) I had two sabers for me, two for Visas, one for Kreia and two for Atton, with another two on hold!

Okay a question on copying sabers. Does it copy all the crystals, emitters, energy cells, etc...that are already in the saber as well? Or just make a new saber with that same crystal color?

could you only copy when you get visas or anytime on the ebon hawk?
I tried copying but it didn't work. I did this: I gave my short saber to visas then I went to the work bench in the ebon hawk and I switched the color of visas saber to red from yellow then i went to switch again but i clicked the same color red and assembled but nothing copies. I just see my saber and visas saber. What did i do wrong?

yes everything in the saber gets duplicated (emiters/lens/focus crystals and colour crystal)

When you copy Visa has to be equiped with it, when your about to chose the colour a second time (the same colour in the saber) do no leave the crytals chosing screen, instead highlight the colour crystal that is ALREADY in the saber and press assemble button. You should then get a copy of the saber in inventory..... IGN and gamespot.com got it covered in there cheat section.

Somni has tried that but it doesn't seem to work. Somni is beginning to suspect that people are lying about all these cheats cause none of them worked for the Mysterious Somni or any other person.

If i find the cheat to be true then with your permission, will the Inquisitive Somni be able to post a more detailed thread about your cheat?

it seems to be dependent on several factors...

which type of xbox you have, when you bought the game, and whether or not you've cleaned the cache...

some exploits work for me, others don't...and i know and understand exploits quite well...

Do not underestimate my knowledge. Speak highly of yourself but what you say will not last but a short time. Somni was referring to all those who were wasting time complaining instead of trying to understand how to activate the glitch. But it is true that under some factors will the glitch work,
but let's not get off the topic says the Recitative Somni...

There is a faster way, one that does not involve fighting Visas. But you will get a few dark side points.

Go to Dantooine, rescue Jorran and buy the 'artifacts' in his possesion that will net you the second piece. While doing the rescue and you come across the dead salvagers, alter the will and return the bodys/will to Zherron. He will give you the claim which includes the third component.

Go ahead somni, but what bugs me is when someone, I wont say names even so it may cause "CONFUSION"........ But if someone says I know how to get the fastest saber, then someone says I can get it faster and doesnt state how to do so, then whats the point of even telling me you can get a faster saber??????

Thanks Venoms! This is great, especially since I only have one planet left (out of the choosable ones) and I haven't found many crystals or sabers, certainly not enough to give each Jedi 2. I found that if you already have the exact same saber in your non-equipped inventory (same color), it seems like you don't get the extra saber and it becomes unequipped from Visas but otherwise this works great.

You dont need spoilers for this discussion, mainly since this is the info you would want if you just started the game (wouldnt you want your saber and a extra jedi on your team right away instead of by the time you reach you second planet?)

besides its not faster...

I dunno about your way bieng faster, Go to nar shadaa, 1 fight on the hawk and a walk over to the flophouse in the docks for another fight and back to the hawk. (not to mention the fact that you now get Visas right away). While yours involves walking over to Khoonda, talking to the girl there for access,then going to the enclave and clearing it, then going over to that dude who gives you the haul from the will, and then walking back to your ship.

Actually.. you don't need to return to the Ebon Hawk, just have Bao Dur in your party. Ok, so my way has more walking, but your way has more combat. Visas, and the Red whatever Slaver guys (possibly).

I think I might have a quicker way....

when I played the game after I got my ship back and got off telos i went to dantooine right away, You can go into the crystal cave and find your characters name crystal thats alligned to your character, and when you save jorrad he offers to sell you jedi relics which are for a light saber, pand happen to be the pieces you need to create your own lightsaber, plus you come accross the rest in the jedi enclave....bring them to bao-dur, and create your own.........
