Some Murder Mysteries

1.With my new character I had been training my fighting skills around Seyda Neen and I found the body of Processus Vitellius the tax collecter. I took his money and his tax records and went back to Seyda Neen. I talked to people concerning his death and they told me to tell the people from the Census and Excise Office. I told Sergailis about Processus Vitellius being murdered, he was clearly troubled but told me he still needed to get the taxes, so I gave him the money. He was puzzled that whoever had murdered Processus Vitellius hadn't taken his money, he said that if I could find the murderer and kill him than he would reward me with 500 septims. I agreed.

I went to Processus Vitellius body and looked around but couldn't find anything, so I talked to some of the locals back at Seyda Neen and found out that nobody liked Processus Vitellius except Tharesa from the lighthouse. I immediately headed for the lighthouse to speak to Tharesa. She told me she had been engaged to Processus Vitellius and he had never gotten angry as long as she had known him. She asked me if I could find the whereabouts of the ring, I said yes.

Thats where I am up to right now, I have been looking around for ages and I'm Stymmied, I would appreciate some help, thanks.

2.With my old character I was looking for Thormoors Watch, I was on the south-west coast of Solstheim. I found the body of an Argonian on a rock which was really hard to get up to.

Anyone have any idea why that Argonian was there? Or who he/she was?

Go see Foryth Gilnith or what's-his-name from one of the shacks. Ask him about the murder and your case is closed!

The other (more non-spoilerish) way to finish this quest is to look at the tax records, and note who hasn't paid their taxes... A good motive, no?

(That's how I solved the quest with Zar.)

uhm.. i've never found that tax collector.. so is he far away from seyda neen and to which general direction is his body located?? i never bothered to look him more than few minutes but i'm getting intrigued

I think the argonian you found on solstheim is part of a larger skooma/moon sugar quest concerning the guards in the fortress and a crazy old man,

I could be mistaking though....

where is the tax guys corpse?? is it on one of the paths from seyda neen?? or what....??

Spoilerific!

The Tax Collector's corpse can be found by heading directly north from Fargoth's house, and sticking close to the coast. His body is at the base of a large tree.

Concerning the Argonian corpse...
He was actually a member of the crew that used the Dwemer Air Ship to locate the burial shamber on the northwest part of the island. Find the wreckage near the center of the island and read the journal near the captain's body. It explains how the Argonian wound up there.
