NWN Ch#2 help

I think this is the right forum to put this in... This is regarding the game Neverwinter Nights. And I can't get into Luskan. This is what I've done so far:
I've gone to north area caves and got a journal from the cult. East area and got a journal from the cult. I went to the charwood haunted area, and those are the places I've been to. Luskan won't open because I guess that I need another journal. Where can I find it? Is it in the south road? But where? This is driving me crazy and I don't want to spend another hour doing a quest that won't even get me into Luskan. Anyway, thanks if anyone can help me with this problem.

Kill the guy in the Charwood Inn, get his journal, talk to Aribeth then talk to Aarin Gend. That should do it.

Have you met a brute called Vardoc? You meet him random and (with Solomon's and Neva's letters) his letter is another proof for Aribeth.
