Mines?
Mines?
I'd just like to gather all the info on the mines of Morrowind, Tribunal, and BloodMoon, into one thread. One of the ones I'd realy like to know about is the glass mines, does anyone know anything?
According o ES lore glass armour is made from volcanic glass or something or other, so it should be near Red Mountain. Although ebony is also formed by volcanoes, it's dried out volcanic stuff, and it's only from Red Mountain, but it's on Solstheim which is nowhere near Red Mountain, it just baffles me.
Silent.
The Dissapla Mine (Glass)
Jolinar88,
Raw Glass isn't common. The easiest mine to find is located inside of the Ghostgate. Just follow the path straight north, and you will see a worn cavern door on your right.
The Dissapla glass mine has the most raw glass. It's involved in a small quest given by Hrundi (Fighter's Guild) in the Sadrith Mora Hall asks you to check into some problems at the Dissapla Mine. The mine is North East of the Dunmer Stronghold Falensarano on the mainland West of Tel Aruhn (ask Hrundi about Falensarano to have it marked on your map). Inside the mine Novor will ask you to kill the Nix Hounds that got loose and are attacking the miners.
The stronghold is a ways West and North of Sadrith Mora and the glass mine is within sight of the stronghold to the north east. Teres Arothan the healer has gotten lost in the mine. Novor will reward you with 4 Raw Glass as a reward for rescuing him. There's a fortune in Raw Glass in the mine, but remember to be stealthy when harvesting.
Return to Hrundi in the guild for your $250 reward.

Custom Armor
Mournhold Custom Armor
In the Craftmen's Hall, you will meet a man named Ibhori Fautus, a great
adventurer. Well, at least he THINKS he is a great adventurer, and has
promptly deserted his apprenticeship position. Bols Indalen, his master,
is highly pissed off that Ibhori has deserted him, and now wants to find
a suitable replacement.
Go inside the Winged Guar, then downstairs towards the bar. Look for
a redguard named Therdon, and speak to him. He tells you of his failure
in the pillow industry. Tell him about the available apprenticeship position
for Bols Indalen, and he will immediately say he'll head to Craftmen's Hall.
Return there, and Bols will now create custom armor for you. You can have
lots of nice custom pieces made here, depending on if you have enough raw
materials on you. This of course leads us to...

Another way of getting a full suit of glass armor (with at least one CE in place, too) if you're running PC-based MW is to get the "Trouble with Millie" mod. It's fun and inventive in its quests, but its rewards are over-the-top. One of them is the armor. I used the Odai Disposal Method, tossing it somewhere in the Odai so it couldn't be found or get in my way.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
Glass Armor Rewarded by Hllalu councillor
If you are in great house hllalu one of the councillors in Balmora gives a quest where the reward is glass armor.
