elizabeth rendezvous

Post by mesut keçeci »

Dear Sirs,

Ungfortunately, during the 'elizabeth Rendezvous' guest, i have already talked with the Nines as requested.

Now i m going to the beach in Santa Monica, but i could not be able to see any boat yet. When i enter the beach, i see the guys (E., Mercur. and others) i turn around them, look to the sea but there is no any boat?

Also i try to lead up to the pier, but i couldn't point a way there, as the way is closed by a chainned door.

Do i miss something?

If you can advise us i would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your kind assistance.

With my kindest regards,

It's there... u just can't see it

There are a few things like this in the game to watch out for. The boat is actually there, in the water behind the fire and the thin bloods. Mercurio should be there to if I remember right... but back to the subject. I had to turn the gamma correction up to full to see the boat. But it should be there, try turning the brightness on your monitor up a bit/turning up the gamma correction. Good luck

Yes, that boat is a pain to find. it's right where they told you it would be, but I stumbled around looking for it for a good twenty minutes.

Anyway, the boat is there (its more of a canoe, actually) in the water on the beach level (you don't need to go up the harbor or anything). As memino said, its basically on the far right of the beach, behind the camp fire.

If you've got Auspex (perhaps Protean, as well) use it; it might help you find it (by improving your visibility). Otherwise just play with the gamma. The form is fairly shadowy, but if you pay close attention to your character, you'll begin to make out a shape in the water. All you have to do is, basically, jump on the boat and move around a bit, and it should allow you to access the Elizabeth.

Anyway, I have no idea why they didn't make the boat more clearly visible. Good luck.

Well, Prince said to take care nobody see you, so it figure Mercurio will find a black colored boat... Never mind that as a Malk female you wear a white chearleader uniform.

still looking for the damned boat, but not found yet.
maybe my vga card (fx 5200) is not so good to provide a good quality of view.
The best is, the developers should provide a patch which paints the boat by a good color which allows to see a bit more easier.

I'm sorry to hear you're still having trouble finding it. Again, its located on the water on the far right side of the beach, behind the camp fire. You'll have to jump on it. You should be able to gradually feel your way around it if you play in that area for a bit.

Your graphics card isn't the issue, the boat is just well hid in those shadows. I agree, however, that the developers should have made it more easily visible (or, at the very least, made the quest sparklies glow on it).

I had to turn my monitor to full brightness and contrast, and up the game settings accordingly. Even then... but I agree about a colour change. Even a logo or something would help -- maybe someone (developer or public) will make a patch to help?
