I recently purchased Bloodlines for myself, and I happen to think it's a great game. However, it's being crippled by taking upwards of two minutes to load each area, and sometimes crashing before it does so. Is this normal?
Actual gameplay itself is fine; the graphics look great, I don't experience a lot of slowdown, nothing like that. I installed the patch hoping it would help (didn't), and I turned all the settings down in the game to their lowest point (I didn't notice much of a difference), but I'm still waiting forever to bounce between places, even after shutting down all the running background programs (antivirus, ect . . . I'm running on XP). Is this normal? Should I reinstall? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
