in nwn platium i play for a few secs and it closes down and i get an error message that says something like 25fd_appcompat.txt please help me
now how did that song go ?

it is probably something wrong with the computer, too little virtual memory, not enough RAM, things along those lines. is this when you are trying to install or play?

I have no idea what this can be, so I'll just ask this: Did you buy the game from a store or was it downloaded?
