A problem (Any help, any, would be brilliant)

Post by Sharpshooternc »

Here's the situation: Straight BG2 without ToB but patched with the latest patch. Running with the mods: BG2 Refinements, BG2 Fixpack, Unfinished Business, the Banter pack, and..I think that's it. All mod options installed.

We've got my main character- a fighter/mage with both at level 13 and the two NPC's this problem's buggered up- Edwin at level 17 and Anomen at 18. I'm right after talking to Jarlaxle and killing the lich in the Drow city. I just noticed a tad problem with the help of Shadowkeeper, the three characters just mentioned's XP levels had froze up, probably a while back. In Shadowkeeper, it has each characters correct XP which puts them all a level up. But in the game, each characters Xp is slightly (25-50 K) below the next level-up. Basically, the game shows their XP as lower as it really is and it's frozen at that level, interfering with level-ups. The only prior changes I had made with Shadowkeeper was to add a few items in (no cheating rants, please) so I doubt it was that.

Anybody have this happen to them before? Know what's happening and how to get the XP flowing again?

read it anyway...their fix might still work...really, the only other advice i can give you is complete uninstall, delete the override directory, and reinstall it clean...
