What's the base Hp for a thief

I've decided te generate some new character for playing multi with a friend this we they are all cool but my thief has got only 27Hp isn't that a little low for an thief of 8th level ?? (My mage has 35) ...

1d4 for first level, and d4 each thereafter

yes it is a bit low. However tou just gott unlucky...

Isn't d6 ??? So it make 8*3.5 = 28 ... So i'm just a little under the average ... but i've got 15 in Constit' so +1 by level therefore I've only get 20hp in the 8 dice roll ... way under the average ... Very unlucky

thought mage and thief were d4
cleric d6
fighter d8
barbarian d10

that's what i remember from pen & paper, but it's been a while.

but maybe it was d12 for bardarian
d10 for fighter
d8 for cleric
d6 for thief
d4 for mage

it bothers me that i don't remember this

If you want a thief with tons of hitpoints dual class a fighter to thief around lev 9. My lev 9/16 thief has a ton of hp. Cant remember how many, buts its over 140
