Patch - problems

Post by Julianobio »

Hello again, well, I have installed the patch v1.2, but after I did, my game did not load, not at all. After that I uninstalled the game and installed again and it was working perfectly. So i tried once more the patch and it creshed the ganme again. Do you know what's happening? Is this patch really important to run the game?

I'm not sure what you're problem is. However, I played the game through without the patch and encountered no serious/game stopping bogs. So I'm sure you'll be fine without it.

You Can Consider Yourself Lucky Then.
I Had One Heck Of A Problem With A Certain Game Crash That Annoyed Me For About 2 Days... A Few Minor Crashes Along The Way But Yeah, I Also Have The Update Problem You Have Julianobio. I've Tried Many Ways But No Success... I'll Tel Ya If I Find Out.

More likely, you can consider yourself unlucky. I generally anticipate games working.

But yeah, a few people have encountered serious problems. This happens with any PC game I've ever been involved with a community about. Different video cards or system configuations respond differently to certain games, for whatever reason. Some players simply get unlucky and become one of those. We've all been there at some point. Still, VtM developer Troika has a reputation for bugs but, I play on a mediocre system with an inferior integrated graphics card, and didn't see anything more than text errors and one sound error. So, nothing even remotely game stopping. This is true for most of the people I know who've played it. So I'd get it a whirl.
