Wandering Village attacks us

Dear All

We are about 1/2 way into a game of Icewind dale2 and doing the fell wood quests on behalf of the occupants of the Wandering Village.

We had just returned to the village and one of the party noticed that they had a energy drain so he tried to fix it with a dispell magic.

On casting this , it could have been dispell affects, the entire village attacked us.

What are these guys hiding

Any clues.

They don't hide anything, they are not supposed to be hostile.

You cast Dispel Magic on yourselves, right? Maybe some villager with a magaic protection was near and he took it offensive as if you were hurling a Fireball to them... Try to leave them alone and restore yourselves further from the people, maybe you can avoid it this way.

Thanks for the tip, I was fairly sure it was not intentional on there part but we have come upon some shaddy characters before such as the werewolves pretending to be merchants (?) near the crash site of the air ship.

We have loaded an earlier game and will continue to help the village.
