Stuck on trying to find this da** jewelry shop..help?

Post by gray0351 »

I can't find "...the back enterance..." let alone the whole green building anywhere in Hollywood or on their map. I need to find Isaac Abrams and until I do I can't continue. Please someone help and I don't have the manual. :(

Gray, damn is a perfectly good word in this forum that doesn't cause problems.

On the other hand, using asterisks to get around vulgarity posting in this forum is a warnable offense that can get you kicked out, if you do it several times. Word to the wise. ;)

And, to the point, to find Isaac...From where the cab drops you off, look for the green signs - the Fast Buck and Vesuvius. The Jewelry shop is on the opposite end of the strip, across from the Chinese Theater. Go down the alley-way between the Jeweler's and the Print shop to get to the door.

This game is so overbrimming with subtle jokes, kudos to the developers.
I think the whole Isaac Abrams element is a comment on the right wing propaganda, which claims that hollywood is run by socialist jews.
Now, in the game you have an Isaac Abrams, in a jewlery shop, secretly controlling hollywood... and he is an anarchistic vampyre.
Great use of sarcasm.

Actually I had a hard time finding the jewellery shop myself. The only clue you get is "Isaac is in the jewellery shop" and there is actually another one at the other end of the street ( right in front of the cemetary ) but of course, it doesnt have abrams jewellery written on it
What you have got to do is run to end of the street where you see the black tunnel ( that indicates the end of the street ) then look at the buildings at it's side, one writes Abrams jewellery on it .If you cant find it run to the other end, you will find the shop there.I think its right across the Chinese thatre....
Hollywood map is a straight line anyway...

The first time you get out of the cab in Hollywood, you are greeted by a guy who will lead you to the jewelry store. He's pretty slow, but you can follow him to Issac.

I never followed the guy who orders me to go see Isaac heh, instead I went the other direction and did all the side quests in that area and all the others until finally there was nothing left but to go see Isaac. But since I love exploring game levels in every direction, I had no difficulty finding the side door to his store. Also if you read the bus stop maps, it will tell you where the store is and everything else for that matter.
