Mage-Kensai (not Kensai-mage)

Post by Borsook »

I wanted to do a Mage who would dual class to Kensai, so I dual-classed to normal fighter and using Shadow Keeper gave Kensai kit and Kai ability, but I'm not sure whether the character is getting the bonuses to attack, damage and speed... so how do I check this? the game seems not to be listing those things anywhere in the interface (unless I'm blind). Any help, please?

Step 1: Make the kit kensai (you already did this)
Step 2: Change level and experience of the fighter kit to 0 (zero). Don't touch the Mage levels.
Step 3: Level him up a bit with cluaconsole or SK itself. To level 10, for example.
Step 4: Open up SK again and take a look at the Affects Tab. It should say 'Damage Modifier' about three times, 'AC' one time and ' 0016' (these are the THACO bonuses) a few times. If it doesn't, you could always add the effects yourself:

Kensai attack bonuses

Thanx, will check it imedietly! It's a pity the game allows dualling only from the kit not to and one has to use such measures...
