Fathian's Tomb

Sorry to use REPLY TO POST ; I don't see where to start a new thread NEWBIE.

Anyway... Can someone please tell me How to Get In FABIAN'S TOMB please ?

I have found Fathian's Castle (or whatever it is called) but the Guards will not let me pass them. What do I need and where do I find it ? ie. Keys ?

PS> I don't have a map any more ... my friend's dog ate the darn thing so I have to go by memory.

I would appreciate anyone's help with this matter.

PS> You are welcome to email me to reply if you wish at mailto:?subject=&body= PLEASE put Dungeon Lords in the Subject Line.

Thanks

Hmm, I hope I have this in the right order.

1. Talk with lady in Inn
2. Talk with lady in Apothecary
3. House of Lords, which at this point they will let you in.
4. Once in, go downstairs and talk with guy on the throne.

At this point, you will need to take on the Elders Trials ... 4 tough battles. Then you will receive permission to go to Fathien's Keep.

I'm stuck in Fathiens tomb. I can't find the Tombkey that lets me enter the 2 doors at the bottom of the lift. Also, is there anyway to get in the door in the sewers up on the platform. It is off to one side from where I rescued the elf from jail.

Not from that position. That door will open when you get in from the lift side, but it just leads back to the castle with a lot of slimes.

I don't remember who I got the two keys from. If you go back to the Keep and explore every room, and every staircase, you are bound to run into the person or persons who have them.

I know where the lift is but I can not find the key. I have been and saved the son and explored all that, however I just can not find where to get the key. I have only killed one boss. I can not find the second.

Hello Soozie and thank you for the tips.
In fact I have started the trials once but only completed beating the first opponant (which took me an hour using a bow and throwing knives).
However, I did not see any other opponants following the first one.
Should I have waited there longer ?
I ended up returning to a previous save just to get out of there. Oh Well ! I guess I will have to spend another hour (and then some).

Thanks again.

You don't actually have to kill that elder (guardian), but if you do, it's worth a lot of experience. Your goal in that first part of the trial is to climb up onto the pillars and then jump to the ledges when the elder is.

SnowTiger, after you killed the first one, you need to climb the pillars to get to where he was standing, hop into his alcove, and step on the blue light, which will lower some pillars in the original room. Go there hop up on them, and proceed to the next alcove to start the second trial.

Thaylin, maybe the second key is in a trunk, have you explored each and every room, bashed all crates and opened all trunks. How about the loft right beside the tomb elevator before you go down? I can't remember how I got mine, sorry.

loth1975, try this:

Left 1 Looking east UP
Left 2 Looking west DOWN
Right 1 Looking east Down
Right 2 Looking west UP

I'm not sure if there is an order of touching them but I started on the Left and did the two Ups first, then back and did the Downs.

Fathian's Tomb

Thanks again Soozie. After waiting around for someone to show up and nothing happening, I figured out that I could climb the columns (before I read your post/reply). I do appreciate your help.

One KEY is in a trunk which is revealed in a small alcove off a hallway, when one of two bricks is moved out (can't remember where I saw either brick). Second brick was in a long hallway about half way down its length.

Another KEY is in the room with the Bunk-Beds. In that main room there is a bed leaning up against the wall (not in the small room off to the side).
Climb up on top of that bed and find the key on the wall. (I found that by accident actually).

NOW I AM LOST > I have ran around in circles for many hours. I have found one Lever and one elevator and the throne room. In fact, I came from behind the throne early on, but now the door behind the throne is just bouncing back and forth and won't permit me to pass (and I can't seem to find how I got behind it again).

There is one door that I have not been able to open which I am sure eventually must lead to the tombs.
This door is Fathian's "Armoury" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
I have keys for Keep and Tomb.

Any suggestions regarding this 3rd key ?
Is this the route to the second lift ? (i.e. behind that door I named incorrectly).

Thanks again for your help.

key

Yes every chest/box I have seen is dead even the one in the water. I have not been able to open the gate near the son, I hear there is 2 levers but I can not find them to save my life.

Tiger, 3 keys? You mentioned the bunk bed against the wall. I completely missed that one, and still got the Tomb and Keep Keys. When I got to the Armory I just opened the door and went in. It had some stuff in it, but again just what, I don't remember.

Have you found the Tomb Lift? To get to it, you can travel from the Throne Room or that large room with a long row of tables.

Thaylin, actually you don't really need the levers, just makes things a little easier. As you enter the tombs from the four-lever room, dive in and start swimming under either to the left or right. They are long swims, and you'll need lots of potions to survive. Eventually you will come to some platforms you can climb up on and a door with any-thing-goes-monsters.

If the door says something like "Fathien's Stronghold -- locked" that's the exit from Ulm. You won't be able to use that until you've found the Argalia.

I've added a map of the main level of Ulm to the walkthrough, but I won't have the text for that section ready until later today. The lift to the lower level is on the southeastern corner of the main level.

Btw, are there really two levers for the Argalia / sepulcher area? I found one underwater in that area, but I never found a second one.

SW, I found two levers. The second one is underwater as you mentioned, and the first is down that corridor to the left of the Tomb Lift. It is either by the 3 caskets leaning against the wall or in the secret room accessed by moving the brick.

Btw, I gotta tell yuh, today this site is major slow in loading. I've never had that problem over here. Of course, it could be my end, although I doubt it as I'm on cable.
