I've got the Sigil, freed the three soldiers, and done just about all I can do in this first part of the temple. My question is how do I get to the next section of the temple? Can't seem to get through any of those barred doors. Right now I'm standing directly over Valdane's cell.
Naga Temple
Yup, yup...I'm not sure who posted it, but did a great job on the walk-thru page, and many, many thanks!
I too am, alas, lost in the Naga Temple. But the walk-thru has helped (and will help) a lot.
It's one of the things that really annoy me about this game (yet, I'm still playing? ) I remember the Sewers, Fargrove, Ulm, Skuldoon...phew! Hours of stuckness and boredom in all of them!! Now, unfortunately, same with Naga Temple: runnin' around, runnin' around, etc. The game is really a bunch of fun at times when you actually get some action besides wandering monsters!
I'm a Level 17 Knight at the moment. It's amazing to think how far I've yet to go!
But the reason for my post, really, was to say thanks for the walk-thru! Good work!
cant understand how can i open the door (s) to the treasure room in naga temple which is located next to the fire room. its got about 5 treasure chests in it
You have to go through the fire passage and the approach the treasure room from the south. In the hallway south of the treasure room, you'll find a few mechanical traps. On the wall amid the traps is a loose brick. When you press the brick, the southern door to the treasure room will open.

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Depending on just exactly where you are, Splinter, you need to be in the eastern part of the temple. The teleporter is to the south of the map. Check here at Game Banshee's Walkthrough to get your bearings:
