I got lost after he told me to find him, does anyone know what the pattern is in the room with all the gates?

If Kingston isn't in the room any more, then you could try following the route listed in the walkthrough. Or you could load and try following him again.

I know that part but at the last shadow gate hes says ( Find me ) and when you go through the one hes at last you end up at the island things and thats where i been stuck for like 2 days

Well I figured out where I messed up, I ran outta shadow stones doing the chess puzzle... is there a way to get more or am I screwed?

After following Kingston, you're supposed to end up at those islands.

Every time you fail in the chess puzzle, one of the chessmen should come alive and attack you, and then drop a shadow stone when it dies, so you can try again. If you somehow managed to use up all of your shadow stones, then you're probably stuck.

yeah im starting way back in naga and starting the ruins over
