can you 'hold the charge' on a group spell? It would mean you could cast the spell with me, and I could walk as close as needed and then release the spell with minimum danger to you

So long as you see each other, you can do a group casting.

Fly would work, IF he doesn't talk.

You just have them move to the tree-line, and you hide within there sight and I'll give you the SP cost.

Jakal-13 (11+2 for still)
Aladine-7 (half cost)
Kaleb-7 (Half-cost)

You each have those metamagic feats free 3/day, so each of the modifiers are free, except you chose two Oskatat, so you have to pay for one of them.

Then, fire away...20d6 to first target...heh...

*grimaces* Screw rolling, the caster level is insane for there saving throws. No possible way to save for any of them, at all.

Who's the initial target? 4 Minotaurs, two humans with staves and one with a mace?

The humans are the initial teachers. If you kill them, the minotaurs have no teachers. I hope
