When will the patch 1.2 be released???

they announced on the official Dungeon Lords website on May 30th that the v1.2 patch should be ready in 1 to 2 weeks. So it looks like it will be soon. Hope that helps any.

It has been two weeks and no patch. The official site doesn't say anything about another patch coming. Its latest news update was on 5/10/2005.

Is there somwere official page where they put teir pach status?

I cant belive that only way that tey inform public is sam forum.

I don't care that tey released game that is not finished (it's kind of fun actualy), but i woud like to know when the paches will be relesed and what to expect from them.

I know official site, but they don't post any information regarding pach status (how far they are, when they are planing to release it e.t.c.)

Guys, if you'd check the official forums, which were linked to by somebody else, above, you'd find that 1.2 was only released in German, and that 1.3 is expected in the next week. It will be in English, and include all the intended 1.2 stuff plus character customization, automapping, etc.

Whether that happens or not, remains to be seen.

Hmm, last time, as I remember, the patch was promised to be ready in a week or two. I hope this time they will not lie as they have done before.

Not really. The 1.2 patch was promised within a period of 1-2 weeks, and appeared roughly 4 weeks later, and only in German. So why should I be pleased at an announcement? When the patch shows up, and if it does all that's promised--we'll see.

My feeling, Fable, when I read Game Banshee's News Item was that a sincere attempt was being made to complete the patch, and that U.S. will be able to pass up on the 1.2 and get all the fixes in 1.3. This I consider great news.

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully the reason for the delay in releasing the patch is because they want to test and test to make sure it is free of any bugs.

Guess I'm an optimist.

i don't think so. They promised to release automap and character functions in pach 1.3. It's alot to do, not including bug fixes. So my prognose is that fist complete version (bug free, all complete, all functions) will be 1.7.

What do you guys think?

I suspect the 1.3 patch is going to be it. I can't imagine DreamCatcher is going to want to spend any more money on the game.

I don't know why they released this game unfinished. Don't get me wrong. I like the game but it has gotten terrible reviews because it is unfinished. Sales must be terrible compared to what would be possible with a complete game.

RPG's have been hurting the past few years. I used to buy at least one a month. Now I only purcahse 1 to 3 a year because no one makes them anymore.

If the game is popular enough it could get up to 1.10 i think... happened with diablo II and many other popular games. Im pretty confident they'll make sure the gamers like it.

I am just hoping that the 1.2 (1.3) patch is going to be something special. Don't get me wrong, I like the game in a sense as much as D2 LOD, but it does need some work. I just hope they are doing everything in there power to make this game worthwhile.

(On a side note: Glad you guys banned "Thisgamesucks." At least we won't have any trolling from that, well if I can't say anything nice, I won't say anything at all)
