About the automap

Post by shadowfawx »

I know that I'm complaining again... however is anyone else dissapointed that the automap feature doesn't have labels? Seems easy enough to incorporate however I know slim to nothing of programming.

Download the new patch. You can find the site in the game banshee news and you'll get the automap you desire. Though, the file is 35-38 megabytes. Pretty hefty for dial-up.
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

Yes I have the 1.3 patch, the automap works.. However I was referring to the fact that there are no labels "in" the automap. Say you find a moongate, the map doesn't label it as such.. It would be a very nice feature.

Crap, misread. Sorry, just woke up.

As for labels, I have yet to try it, but I was expecting a semi-equivalant map like Elder Scrolls. Anywho, MANY of the people are just as disappointed in the patch as you are. I have yet to try the game with that patch, so I will wait to see if it is good or not.

I'm not that dissapointed in the game. I am having a relatively good time playing through it minus having to restart three times.. My rants are all about dissapointment in the development/publication team. I simply bi*c* because I feel someone should step up and take responsibility for this.

Either way there are no labels on the automap, wish it did.

I have experiance of programming, and labels are easy to implement only you have to place them all on the map. So to do this you have to do extra work and thats a thing DL developers don't do.

As I told before - Only after Pach 1.7 the game will be complete.
Sorry for my bad Eanglish :(

I hope your're right. I doubt that it will ever be complete. And I am using that term very loosely.
