How Do You Get Money Fast
Steal from merchants, then sell to other merchants, make sure you don't sell the same type of goods back to other merchant, example: you steal a spoon from merchant 1, sell it to merchant 2, then you steal his stuff including a spoon. Eventhough it is not spoon you just stole from merchant 1, it it's the same kind and merchant 1 will think you stole it from him.
If you're good at opening locks (alteration/lockpicking) you can go to Aldruhn fighter guild. Downstairs is a locked door guarding two locked treasurechests, one has glass armor the other has orcish armor.

Do you need a silencer if you're gonna shoot a mime?

If you've got Alchemy as a major skill, selling potions you make can be very remunerative. Even better, trap creatures in soul gems, and sell those: big bucks. I use the first of these occasionally, and the second not at all, but they're the standard route most people use to riches in the game. There are also several PC-based mods that increase the general gold supply to all merchants.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
you'll also find that it is kind of difficult to sell expensive items in Morrowind unless you're using a mod that gives merchants a lot of money or places a single person that has a lot of money. personally, i like the mod that had a ogrim who stood in caldera and would buy anything, create spells, and enchant items.

You can also explore ruins and collext swords and armors that are valluable, lets say 10,000 GP or more, and sell them in caldera to a Creap(max 5000), or to a Mudcrab (max 10000) on Azura cost.

You all seem to be forgetting the one where you wear indoril armor in front of an ordinator and from then on, they attack you. Since it's legal to kill in self defense, you can harvest their corpses including their ebony maces, their very costly armor, and their tight leather pants

i played a kahjit thief (very evil) who had a little more that 1 million gold before i started the first task of the blades quests-i did some pretty crazy tihs...
i went around the whole map breaking into houses, killing innocent people, stealing from and killing merchants, going into tombs/caverns/unique places by Dagoth Ur and stealing extremely valuable items, basically sucking out all the good stuff out of the game and keeping it all to myself (i used a house in Balmora to store it all). i even went to many extremes such as killing Lord Vivec and selling The Keening.
Finally there was one thing to do......... SELL IT TO THAT CRAZY TALKING MUDCRAB MERCHANT DUDE!!!!!!!!!! sweet bro rock on peace out man
dont know where he is???????? http://www.buttersky.com/morrowind/#talking_mudcrab
the mudcrab guy only has 10,000 gold for buying stuff so u need to rest after he goes broke (24 hours), and then sell him more stuff.
Finally one important note: doing this task BASICALLY SCREWS YOU WHOLE GAME UP YOU WILL HAVE A TOUGH TIME lol hope this helped

Hey, I don't know about you, but I find that enjoyable. I mean, now everytime an ordinator says "You cannot escape the righteous!", I get to go "More like, you can not escape my blade getting shoved into your throat"

So, other than a MOD or the freakish Mudcrab, there really isn't anybody who can buy some high priced items? Like items that are worth 5k-10k gold???
any one have any idea's on how to make a quick gold piece ???
you can make money very easy.travel to tel branora there,s a merchant that sells unlimited common soul gems by as many as you can buy a summon scamp spell from caldera mages guild summon and trap the scamp worth 4000 each time then sell them to the creeper in caldera.you can also buy unlimited fortify ingridents from the sadrith mora impirial cult theres aguy with a red robe on.make your intelligence very high then make potions worth 5000 each then sell it to the crepeer.also when your intelligence is very high from making potions you can buy unlimited fortify personality ing from balmora temple down stairs then make a bunch of fortify personality potions drink them and buy anyting you want from a merchant for o amount and sell anything for as much as the merchant can afford.
Certain merchants stack items so you can eventually buy and sell for alot of money quickly.
Well, I've got some high priced artifacts that are worth anywhere between 5k -25k gold each. I haven't found anybody who can fork out that much cash for only one item though.

Well in exploiting this bug I wasn't really interested in selling specific items, just making money.
This Redguard in Balmora fighters guild suffers from this bug (or at least in my original x-box game without- and pc version with both expansions).
I buy his items, wait until they've regenerated and buy them again, after a while I have tons of the same item and sell them back at a higher price.

So my guess is is that there aren't any merchants with that much cash to pay for only one item in an unmodded game... ???

My technique works for if you have the tribunal expansion. Get yourself the mark and recall spells(enchant them in rings/amulets if your mysticism sucks) then sleep till you get attacked by an assassin(should happen pretty quickly actually) then head to ebonheart, and get sent to the capitol. Go to the bazaar and head into the armory, marking the spot infront of the merchent there. Then head in the sewers and go to where the assassins are. Kill them all(it's pretty easy at even low levels since their ranks go up with your levels). Anyway, they have expensive but light armor so kill them all and take all their stuff. head out to the enterance to that area, drop all that stuff and sleep. repeat until you have about 50 suits(should take about 6 trips) then grab all the stuff in the pile you made and cast recall, sell it to the merchent (she has a Really large amount of gold, don't forget to sleep 24 hours each time so she'll get her gold back till you sell it all). once your done there you should end up with a couple of hundred thousand.
As long as you don't kill their leader(generally speaking you should just stay in that main cavern, don't bother going in those buildings until you want to continue those quests) you can do this whenever you want. When you level up their weapons get better, but aside from that they don't get much harder. Happy hunting.

if you need a bit of cash at the very beginning of the game, before you can even afford to do things like training in sneak, id suggest joining the mages guild... I think it's the second quest in balmora where youre supposed to put a fake soul gem in the desk upstairs. the lady that has a shop by that desk walks downstairs for that, since she's not supposed to see you putting the gem in there. once she is so conveniently gone, there are quite a few soulgems, including a greater one worth 60k, sitting on her desk.
