I need help!

Here's the thing: My fighter has 18 con, and he only gets 3 hp per level, constantly. At level 18 he has only about 130 hp! Why don't I get the 5 hp bonus?!?

This torqued me, too. It has to do with an interpretation of the PnP rules. In 2nd Edition, we always thought you should get the Constitution bonus every time you level up -- why would you lose your basic heartiness just because you had gained experience? However, others interpret the "3 points per level after 9th" to mean only three points. Tomato, tomahto...

In BG2 a 18 con gives only 3 extra hp's. No 5 is it?

Five extra in addition to the normal ten for a fighter makes fifteen per level. But this goes only for the first nine levels. Then you'll gain three HPs per level, constitution bonus included.

With a Constitution of 18, you'll gain +4 HP/Level.

I stand corrected. Played to many dwarves lately, I guess. :)
