Halfling fighter

I know everyone thinks that halfling fighters suck, but I think that if a halfling fighter spends 5 slots on warhammers and 5 slots in shortbows, he would be pretty formidable. Just give him Crom Faeyr, his strength penalty would be obsolete. Plus, give him a Gesen Bow and he would be an awesome archer/tank. Like Mazzy but 10 times better! I think his stats would be:

STR 17, DEX 19, CON 18, everything else is 9.

Couldn't you give him the gauntlets of ogre power too?

Actually Drayskullan, you can give him or her one or the other (as Crom requires the gauntlets to build it). You can just pick one belt (hill giant strenght, 19, i believe)up at the Adventurers Mart, early on in hte game, so strenhgt shouldn't be a problem. I like the idea of a halfling fighter. Just try it Valhoran!!! (and tell us how it went..)

A halfling fighter is nothing revolutionary, if you don't mind me saying so. And Mazzy's stats are actually quite good, should you enhance her strenght with any of the many items which do so. Add to that her special abilities and she will, IMO, be just as good as your proposed PC.
