Shadow ruins problem

In shadow ruin hub is the rune puzzle. So I jump. There are two shadowgates. Right to Kingston, left to windjump area. When I go left here is a small room with another shadowgate, and then another and another. I never arrive in the windjump area. I did the other area's exept the Kingston. Do I miss something? Please tell me I miss something and this is not a bug.

Once your in the room to go to the windjump area with the shadow gates on both sides, look on the wall. There should be 2 pictures on the wall on each side of the room. Basiclly follow the picture of the knight on the wall going through each shadowgate and you should reach the wind jumping area.
I am currently in the same castle.

Thank you so much. I looked at the walkthrough, but thought it was a room, with table, chairs and with 4 small pictures. I am stupid, but happy.
I am curious, what is your level?
