Howto Divorce grey, get phys XP, huge multiplier, and get bored all at the same time

Tho a few people on this forum have been interested in divorcing lady grey, I havent seen many people talk about actually managing it. You can manage it, I did it last night... but every other quest in the game still beleives you're married to her. In addition to this, you still have access to her manor.
I caught her in her room in her manor @ dawn, & slept with her 1 last time just because. (I wouldnt recommend this if you want a dovirce, it just means getting one is that much harder... I was just screwing around.) After this I used a # of offensive emotes, then punched her a couple times. I noticed physical XP slowly racking up, and my mutiplier reliably, if very slowly, inching up... so I decided to continue while I searched the forums for more info on how to divorce.
I continued to beat on her while I read the forums until I had a multiplier of 50 and a bit over 100k physical XP built up(this took roughly 1.5 days in game time of beating on her), then guzzled a bunch of ages potions as I was done reading the forums and was sick of clicking. I farted once more, and presto, divorce. As I mentioned before tho, everything else in the game still considers us married, and on top of this, I beleive grey's traumatized and wont leave her rooms anymore.

Moral of the story: I dont beleive you can punch lady grey to death, so she makes on hell of a punching bag. If you're maschistic and bored, you can get any multiplier you feel like off her, as well as a stack of physical XP.

That's not worth the 1.5 days of punching if you ask me :D Getting Damage multipliers from Lady Grey takes way too long, and it's not even a real divorce. If I could really get divorced, I would've done it though :)

Beating on your spouse is the best way to get a divorce, true. For me, when I was beating on Lady Grey it only took me around 5 minets to get a divorce from her, I suppose it all depends on your relationship status before the beating process begins.

I'm sure I could have gotten a divorce much earlier, I just was curious if the physical xp and the multiplier would keep climbing. I had forums to read, it's easy enuf to keep one hand clicking while reading forums on my laptop.
I just found it really humorous to beat her for a day and a half and beat my top multiplier score from the graveyard.

Interesting update on the wife beating. As soon as you can get a wife in bowerstone, you can move her upstairs behind a cabinet in a corner across from the staircase(this is the only place I could do this without being stopped by the guards, even out on the back porch of the house you will get caught), and the same thing with physical XP and multipliers applies...
To simplify my life for this I got a macro to hit the same key repeatedly, I then watched a movie and came back to a 159 multiplier and 1.25 million physical XP, max evil(beating a wife other than LG will net you 1 evil point every few hits, LG beating has mo alignment shift associated), & age 61. Using the multiplier I drank all my ages potions and maxed out speed, accuracy & got 6 in guile, got 3 in physical sheild, maxed out mana, time slow, enflame, multistrike & berserk(maybe more, tho imo these skills make the entire game trivial, nothing else is really needed), and of course, maxed out all my physical skills. I then recalled to greatwood caves & opened the door that requires the 14 multiplier.
This can all be done incredibly early in the game making it quite funny & broken.

my guess is it wasnt a wife in bowerstone... bowerstone is a unique case in the game as it actually blocks any hostile magic / weapons. I dont beleive it's possible to actually kill anything in bowerstone.

Well, unless you have a mercenary by your side.

I find the best way of divorcing your wife, is throwing up on them. Get wasted, and puke away. It really makes them upset.

Divorcing Lady Grey is easy. I didn't even WANT to diverce her, but she seemed to think divorce was the best way to go.

After I married her, I did the quest about how she murdered her sister, then I went to her room and beat her up for taking the papers away. I only hit her till my modifier was up to 30 or so. Not long at all.

Next I went and married a guy in Oakvale and didn't go back to see her again until I went to do the "Stop the exectution" quest. I was walking through North Bowerstone to the Prison, and BAM! She came up to me and served me my papers.

15 diamonds, 8 black roses, a dozen boxes of chocolates and countless manly emotes later I gave on winning her back.

Just a note, I don't believe she likes black roses after the original quest. And after you divorce someone, they are gone for life plus I believe other people in the town will like you less. As such, it actually becomes hard to get a wife.
In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.
