Infogrames just this week bought the rights to publish official Peanuts games (from the comic).

Oh christ, that's great. So what next for BG3? Charlie Brown as the protagonist? World War flying ace as a kit? Stupid beagle dance as a special ability? Image

Its all going to the dogs I tells ya. We're doomed. All doomed.

Imagine if some of their DBZ source code was mixed into their Peanuts source code by mistake. Image

How about instead of arrows they decide to use baseballs. Image

Don't tell me. The purpose for BG3 will be to win their first game of the season, right? So they can get their new uniforms?

Isn't Infogrames a fruity french company?
It's just that when someone mentioned that Infogrames didn't make any good games I had to bring up North&South........remember the Indian and that massive guy from Mexico.....wasted your soldiers if you got too close to their territory.......
And the fighting action.....the battles were great fun on 2 player mode.....cavalry, riflemen and cannons........great game.....

People can mention about 3 games Infogrames have produced that were better than average, that does not bode well....

Just that Infogrames own Hasbro interactive and thus D&D, doesn't mean that they will actually make the game themselves. It is still my best guess that they will focus on letting other companies produce games for them. I still think that their main interest in D&D is using it as a background for a MMORPG.

I can give you another title for Infogrames. They are bringing out Alone in the Dark 4.

The answer to that would seem very simple. I guess that me saying that I am Flagg is not the answer that you are looking for.

This same thing has been going on for the last 15 or so years. There are usually several game companies making licensed D&D games at any one time. Some of them turn out to be crap and some of them turn out to be gems. I'm sure that the games we'll get in the future will be that way too. Just read the reviews and be sure your buying the gems and not the crap.
