i think i made a fatal mistake. when i went to my room in the civil feasthall, i told the lady i wanted to rest first. then, when i went into my room, i could not obtain the dodecahedron (which is necessary to continue). after looking around, this is apprently a bug. well, my last save was forever ago, so i decided to try tormenthack and psthack...neither of which i could figure out how to do what i wanted. is there any way to fix this short of reloading and playing through a large section of the game again?
*i know, i know - keep multiple saves. i am usually very good about it but was negligent in this one instance. bah.
Are you sure to have looked everywhere? I first could not bash open the Door behind which the dodechaedron was. Then I forgot about the door and found it later per accident, when I returned to my room.
You can go to your room any time and have a look for what you seek.
