Evil Love *spoiler?*
Evil Love *spoiler?*
I haven't played BG2 in a while, but plan on playing through as evil soon. Something I enjoyed about my last run was my romance with Jaheira, but I was chaotic good. Are romances restricted only to good guys? I was reading about the Viconia romance, and know you can convert her to being "good" in the end.. but are you able to have a romance with her while both remaining evil?
Whenever I romanced Viconia, I always picked the 'good' option for dialogue (I thought) but she never changed alignment - she remained evil. But of course, if you plan to romance her, you won't be able to be evil to her (for most of the part anyways), at least that's what I remember.

To the best of my knowledge, alignment does not affect or limit romance choices.
From what I recall, Viconia does not become "good," but rather, chaotic neutral.

I'm not sure, but I think all of the original romanceable NPCs are initially willing to romance evil characters. But of course your character's actions and dialogue options can end the romance. Evil characters have a few dialogue options that are not available to good or neutral characters, and some of them can cause good NPCs to break with the party. By the same token, some dialogue options that are available to good characters are not available to evil characters. For example, I don't think an evil character can alter Viconia's alignment in TOB.
